Call for nominations for Governing body: CP Nel Museum

Members of the public are invited to nominate candidates who could serve on the governing body of the CP Nel Museum from 11 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, in terms of sections 3(1), 15(1) and 34 of the Western Cape Museums Ordinance Amendment Act 2 of 2021 (The Ordinance)

Museum governing body nominees are required for:  The Board of Trustees of CP Nel Museum,  Oudtshoorn 

REQUIREMENTS:

Nominees must–

(a) be South African citizens 

(b) be at least 21 years of age

(c) be permanent residents of the Western Cape Province

(d) have experience in corporate governance

(e) demonstrate special knowledge of matters concerning museums

Members of the public who wish to nominate suitable individuals to serve on the governing body of the CP Nel Museum must complete the online nomination form which can be accessed at https://forms.gle/hKFiXCmyAu8ijruj7.
