Non-Financial (Performance) information of the first quarter of 2013/14 for Western Cape

The tables below represent the consolidated first quarter preliminary dataset of the performance information on all Provincial Departments, Provincial Parliament and Entities within the Western Cape. The information provides an overview of performance against predetermined objectives and targets set in the 2013/14 Annual Performance Plans.

The Heads of the Departments, Provincial Parliament and CEOs of Public Entities have provided sign-off on the correctness of the data relating to each department/entity. The data is preliminary and the first quarter validated data will be published at the end of the second quarter. The data should be considered indicative of trends rather than absolute measures of performance.

It is envisaged that the completeness and reliability of the information supplied by the departments and entities will improve with the result that this information will become increasingly useful for holding the Western Cape Government accountable.
