Director-General Appointed as Visiting Professor at the University of Cape Town

The Director-General, Dr Gilbert Lawrence, has been appointed as a visiting professor in the School of Public Health and Family Medicine.
The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Cape Town presented him with a certificate to this effect. The appointment is for a period of two years until January 2006.
Dr Lawrence obtained his M Med (Community Health) qualification in 1980 at UCT and was previously a visiting lecturer in the Department of Community Medicine.
