Minister to host Youth Cultural Evening to celebrate youth month

Tomorrow, the Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Albert Fritz, will host an evening of fun and entertainment, as 100 young people from across the province will meet to display their talents in art, music, dance and theatre.

A major theme by the Department this Youth Month has been to give young people spaces to express themselves. It began with the launch of the Express Yourself Youth Canvas earlier in the month and will culminate with this Youth Cultural Evening.

Many of the young people who will be present are youth who have excelled in their fields. These are young people who are involved in projects both in government and the NGO sector, which serve the youth of the province.

There will be opportunity for photos and interviews.
