N1 lane closures

We will be conducting the following lane closures on the N1 for roadwork operations which may cause heavy traffic congestion:

Wednesday, 14 November 2018

Inbound lane closure between Durban Road On-Ramp and Jip de Jager On-Ramp for road rehabilitation. Right and middle lanes closed from 7pm to 5am.

Thursday, 15 November 2018

• Outbound lane closure for N1 3rd lane construction between Bill Bezuidenhout Bridge and R300 Outbound Off-Ramp. Right lane closed from 6am to 3pm

• Inbound lane closure for N1 3rd lane construction between R300 Inbound On-Ramp and Bill Bezuidenhout Bridge. Right lane closed from 9am to 7pm

• Inbound lane closure between Durban Road On-Ramp and Jip de Jager Off-Ramp for road rehabilitation. Left lane closed from 9am to 7pm

• Inbound lane closure between Durban Road On-Ramp and Jip de Jager On-Ramp for road rehabilitation. Right and middle lanes closed from 7pm to 5am

Friday, 16 November 2018

• N1 inbound will be closed between Durban Road Inbound Off-ramp and Jip de Jager Inbound On-ramp to conduct road rehabilitation.
• Closure will be from Friday 16 November 2018 at 7pm until Monday 19 November 2018 at 5am.

Please make use of alternative routes when travelling towards Cape Town via the N1 carriageway.

Preferred alternative routes include the R300 – N2 or N2 – N7.
