Each year, the World Travel Awards rewards and celebrates excellence across all key sectors of the tourism and hospitality sector.
This year, I am delighted to see that Western Cape tourism and hospitality related products are represented in no fewer than 28 categories. This is indicative of just what wonderful, world-class options we have in the province.
The nominations range from hotels, resorts, attractions, convention centers, to beach destinations, best festival destination and best responsible tourism offer.
Voting for the Africa Nominees 2022 closes on Wednesday, 24 August 2022.
I encourage all residents of the Western Cape to make their vote count and help make sure our province continues to receive the global recognition it deserves.
Tourism and hospitality is such a vital part of our economy, contributing billions and providing much need employment.
By voting for our proudly Western Cape products, we can raise the profile of the province even more, and thereby attracting more leisure and business travellers from across South Africa, Africa and the world.
