The Directorate Arts and Culture of the Department of Cultural Affairs and sport (DCAS) annually invests in drama programmes in the Western Cape. It starts with an initial talent search that is followed by various drama workshops, quality theatre productions and showcases in the rural districts of the province. These aspiring stars are also introduced to a higher level of exposure at festivals such as the Baxter’s Zabalasa Festival, KKNK and Suidoosterfees. Read more about these acitivites online. DCAS and its partners aim to develop the arts through these festivals and expose the young talent in communities to exciting opportunities BETTER TOGETHER. |
