Diseases treated at the clinic include:

Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA):
Long-term Arthritis of Childhood which is not caused by infection, another disease or injury. This is the most common form of arthritis in children and teenagers.

Systemic Lupus Erythematosis (SLE):
SLE which is often called just "lupus", can affect any part of the body, and is characterised by a hypersensitised immune system which attacks healthly organs.

Juvenile Dermatomyositis:
The chronic swelling of muscles and skin.

Other conditions treated at the clinic include:
Scleroderma, Periodic Fevers and other autoinflammatory conditions, such as Vasculitis.

Patients with confirmed or suspected diseases of the joints or connective tissues can be referred to this clinic by a doctor.
